Challenging the conventional plan of the suburban apartment, Giorgio and Mia seek to setup a modern household where flows and transparencies create new opportunities for a contemporary living. Sliding full height glass doors open up the space of the kitchen, family living and winter garden to the receptions and dining room space. In the process, the so-called traditional entrance and the circulation corridor to the bedrooms disappear leaving space for a continuous flow that is written on the "wood vein" grey surface of the marble floor and the otherwise white walls and ceilings. Inside the master bedroom, the scenario repeats itself, whereby the enclosures of dressing rooms, and master bathroom are this time flowing in, opening the space, once again, to extended perspectives.
